Greenies are hard chews in the shape of a large toothbrush. They look like they're plastic but actually they are chloraphyl (sp?). You can get them at PetCo, PetSmart and Target. They come in different sizes. The vet highly recommends them, although he does want the dogs to come in for a proper teeth cleaning. Greenies help in delaying visits, though...
