Why isn't the book that I am presently reading onthat list?

'Two Years at St. Andrews'...a book by the former publisher of Golf Magazine detailing his move from America to a house on the 18th hole of St. Andrews Golf Course in Scotland...I am a sucker for anything golf.

Okay, that's sad. I have honestly only read 4 of those books. There were dozens others that I Cliff Noted in school. I'm a bit embarrassed and ashamed.

I've read 57, and the only two I regret are "The Celestine Prophecy" and "Wuthering Heights." Utter pieces of literary shite.

Loved "Emma". Loved it.

I'd take one Ayn Rand over 4-5 Harry Potter books. ;-)

Good list, though!

I've only read 29. I don't know what the list is, but if it includes ayn rand, it cannot be considered literature.

I've only read 5 of those books. Just 4 if I exclude the one that was read to me rather than read to me. :)

Of those one hundred, I've read nineteen. An eclectic list, mixing such giants as King and Ludlum with smaller works and authors such as Jane Austen, the Bible, Tolkein, and Lewis.

Where did the list come from? Is it a catalog of someone's shelf?

Why multiple JK Rowling and only 2 Ayn Rand? My total is 30; have anther half dozen waiting to be read.

OK, now what exactly is the problem with Ayn Rand?

In my humbl opinion, she's a little bit too intellectually pretentious.
