I'm who?
It's been a few decades since I watched the Superfriends, but my only memory of Green Lantern is that his mask stayed on without any sort of support.

I think it was his strong will power that allowed him to keep the mask on without support. That or his good imagination. Cause it sure wasn't his hot-headedness.
I am Spiderman! Fear me! Actually, don't fear me. It says I'm geeky and responsible. Sadly accurate.
Coincidentally, last week's New Yorker included an article about several recent books about Thomas Paine, and the reviewer (twice) compared him to a "minor Superfriend" as a way of placing him in American/Revolutionary history.
